I am late again in going to bed. We have been watching a British comedy movie that I forgot the time. It was really fun to watch that I felt my energy and couldn't fall asleep, yet.
I have to calm down to be able to sleep and so I am here again Mylotting. I am in bed and has just taken Magnesium supplement for the night which also contains lavender. There is a strong scent of lavender when I put it on my tongue and swallowed it with water.
Have you tried taking magnesium supplement? This supplement relaxes my muscles and I sleep wonderful. This time I have bought the one which contains lavender.
Anyway, this is my goodnight post again. See you later when I am awake. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful new month of May.

I only take 1 supplement in the evening before going to bed. I discovered a few years ago when I was still working as a massage therapist that it helps me to relax my muscles especially when I was so tired. Though I only have my household chores that makes me tired nowadays, this magnesium is still helping me to relax. Thank you @LowRiderx. Goodnight to you, too.

@thelme55 All doctors would tell you the same. Using smartphones, laptops, computers or other electronic devices before going to sleep, delays our body's internal clock. As a consequence it suppresses the release of the sleep hormone melatonin, and makes it more difficult to fall asleep.

I didn't know that magnesium is a muscle relaxant.

@Alexandoy "Magnesium is essential for proper muscle function and acts to relieve tight, sore and cramped muscles. It controls muscle contraction and acts as a muscle relaxant. It can, therefore, be vital in the treatment of back pain and cramps by relaxing back muscles, kidney stress and muscular tension." That is what I found searching online.

@Alexandoy Nope. I just want you to share what it does to me.
I have used magnesium supplements since 2008 when I was working in Ireland as a massage therapist. Sometimes, I had 5-7 clients and I was so tired that I had a backache. Then I took a magnesium supplement to ease my cramps hands as I know I had a magnesium deficiency. It helps and I am still using it now especially when I am so tired of doing my household chores.

If I take magnesium, I might have trouble getting up already. I sleep like a baby nowadays.

Maybe @cherriefic but magnesium is not for sleeping. It is for relaxing the muscles. This magnesium I bought is extra for the night because it has lavender oil which makes me sleep well. Thank you.

Yes, it helps me have a good sleep. Here is what I found online @JudyEv.
"Is it better to take magnesium at night?
Better sleep. Insomnia is a common symptom of magnesium deficiency. People with low magnesium often experience restless sleep, waking frequently during the night. ... Research indicates supplemental magnesium can improve sleep quality, especially in people with poor sleep."
