Bones and I: Nightmare (kinda)

Last night there was the physical abuse in the nightmare which was horrific but I will save you the gory details this time. Instead I wanted to talk about part of the dream that freaked me out but didn't scare me so bad I woke up crying. I was laying on the floor Bones had beaten me to a pulp. I looked up at him and my vision had a red tinge to it so either I had blood from somewhere else in my eye or I had a burst blood vessel. Bones crouched down beside me "remember when I was the hero in your nightmares?" he then sat his long legs outstretched and he leaned back on his arms. I whimpered and he told me to shut up as the beating he gave me tonight wasnt as bad as in the other nightmares. At this my stomach flipped because I was aware it was a nightmare but how was he aware it was a nightmare. He smirked "Yeah Im conscious" his smirk then turned into a sneer. "You know that friend of yours blank him shooting me in the face wasn't very nice." I tried to move but yelped in pain. There was a silence and Bones started recalling a dream to me. I recognise the dream.. he used to have a reoccurring nightmare that he would show up at the house and I had a fiancè and my fiancè would stab Bones. Most of the time in this nightmare I would tell my fiancè to do it... sometimes them stabbing him would result in them being "rewarded" I would make Bones watch them being rewarded as he slowly bled out. I used to hate Bones telling me this it would make me sad... In the dream I groaned and sat up observing him with my one good eye pain was still exploding and I couldn't find my voice. He looked back at me and he continued the corners of his mouth twitching up into a smile as he recalled a different dream... It was one that I never told Bones before and one that I had semi forgotten. We had just been married and we owned a farm type property we had 2 kids and we were making a home for our relatively young family we had dogs and goats and chickens too. Bones looked sad for a moment and turned. "Im sorry I couldn't give you any of that..." He then started to describe an apocalyptic dream I would have. He tipped his head "Did you used to dream of me as a hero because I wasnt your hero in real life?" I shrugged a little and my shoulder crunched I held my shoulder and Bones shuffled over "I'm sorry for the damage I caused." I pushed him off with my good arm. "I didn't need an apology... I needed you to change Bones." He hung his head and nodded a little. "I hope he keeps you safe and happy..." I frowned in thought "I'm sorry who?" Bones looked at me like I was stupid. "The guy over there...." Bones pointed and I followed his finger to an odd patch of the dream it was obscured and pixelated. "There's no one over there...." Bones smiled faintly "yeah there is you'll see" He then locked eyes with me and his expression changed his eyes hollow and his face gaunt skin pale. "Bones are you ok?" the surrounds started to dim. He raised his fist and punched me. The dream scene reeled and lurched and I fell hitting my head the dream ended as soon as my head hit the floor.
