Google Alerts! (Just for fun!)

A lot of people like to Google themselves just to see what pops out in the results. Well! Maybe not a lot of people. But I like doing it! I do periodic checks just to see what kind of picture of me is “painted” by my online activity. Am I notorious? Am I boring? Am I ME?
In my state (Texas), the lock-down restrictions have been lifted. Which means nothing for me since I have been working from home for over 10 years. When I worked outside the home I had a work habit of preparing “To Do Lists” to get my daily work accomplished. I don't do that any more for my online work because … what usually happens is that I have tasks in mind “To Do” but when I open my eMail or my Facebook accounts I get distracted and go off in a completely different direction.
Take today, for instance. I was going to complete a post series but when I opened my eMail I started looking for one thing and ended up another place. I ended up at the Google Alerts.
Years ago when I first started working online I used to receive Google Alerts for certain topics. But then I unsubscribed. I had signed up for too many and I overwhelmed myself. So I had to hit the brakes!
This morning I saw one of my old eMails (from 2014) and thought to myself:
Should I start subscribing to Google Alerts again?
My second thought was:
I wonder what the search results would show if I did a Google Alert of ME?
So I did two searches. One search signed in to my Google account and one search not signed in. The search where I was signed in, I just used my real name. The second where I was not signed in I used one of my pen names.
I am happy to report that the Alert search results were very accurate. None of the results were bogus! It was ALL MY ACTIVITY.
But now I'm wondering. (???)
What was about those particular activities that triggered an ALERT?
Things that make you go hmmm??
Just me being goofy. Hope y'all are having a great day.

If you're still on lock-down, just be patient. It won't last forever.
If you're not on lock-down, just realize … the virus don't work for the governor!
Either way … be careful. Look out for yourself and your loved ones.
