i am a geek and I acknowledge that.
But I heard a wonderful, actually not heard but read.
Anyway one of the 3d printers that I love (I am waiting for my new one) released a set of patterns for free) for their 3d printers.
Need PPG? (Personal Protective Gear) like a sneeze shield etc?
They release the patterns so you can print your own!
But, it felt like good news to me!
what do you think is that a good thing for the company to do?

I am still amazed by the 3D technology. Is the dog made of plastic? Does it heat the strands so they bond to each other? I'm clueless.

Yes, I printed a green lab (I had green plastic) and a black lab. The plastic is heated and then precisely extruded just like what the big companies do!

it is a form of plastic, but you can also print with wood, metal and other things that can be melted by the printer.

That’s superb. Crises bring out the best in a lot of people (as well as the worst in the scammers, sadly).
Question for you, geek: how much does one of those things cost?

that depends a lot on what you are printing. If you are printing smaller things - anywhere from 400 dollars to 1200 dollars.
bigger things- printer costs a lot more. to 3500 sometimes.

How amazing 3D printing is. Who would have thought when we were kids such things would ever be possible!
