Virtual Knit Group Get-Together

For the past 4 or 5 Sundays, the knit group I'm in has been getting together on Skype. I tell you what, I really appreciate that we have been able to "meet" in this way because I get to see and talk to people. The self-isolation due to the corona virus can be pretty isolating , especially for someone who lives alone like I do. Even though we have a different setting now, we still talk about what our current knitting or crocheting projects are or what we have recently finished. We are still able to show our work, talk about patterns that we have acquired, and just chit-chat. Last week, one lady in the group was outside on her little deck planting flowers! We are having another get-together this afternoon and I will be showing the sweater that I finished crocheting and at least one sock that I have completed. Well, almost completed. I need to finish up the heel before that happens.
