Methinks the poor suitor in the above story should have left well enough alone. The woman who held his affections was obviously bad luck!
It's 11:40 AM and what to my wandering eyes should appear? The same thing that has been there the past three days. The roofers still have not arrived to clean up their mess. Really! We know they have to show up because they have to be paid, but you think they'd be quicker about it! Five full days of the dumptruck in our driveway is plenty enough!

I'm not in the best of moods anyway, but am trying to kick myself out of it...

@amitkokiladitya Thank You. Honestly, I think I should just spend one day where I do what I want to and not worry about the other things around me. That is not so easy, though.

I would call the roofers. That woman in the article was definitely bad luck. Cheer up! My Monday is OK. Same old, same old.

The roofers are FINALLY here. They left with the dump truck just a bit ago.
You are the only one who even mentioned the article. 
What do you suppose? Was the woman real? All these newspapers I've been reading, and some of the actual real news seems more like a story! It's hard to distinguish sometimes.

@LindaOHio That's what I thought too. It's doubtful a fellow would wait so long. I also feel like he'd have felt slighted when she went off and married someone else.
