It's so hot

It's hot and I'm hot.
Temperature is 36F and feels like 44F. This has been the temp since yesterday.
I can't stand the heat. I feel so gggrrr....
Today, I just want to eat halo-halo cold (a Filipino dessert).
Since yesterday it has been so humid. I understand it is summer but the heat is terrible. It's like your strength is being drained out and it's like you are burning like a candle. When we were about to sleep last night, if felt like there was no air and was so hot. We couldn't turn on the A/C because we are trying to save on electricity because we have not received our bill yet and we don't have any idea how much our bill is at this time. But secretly i turned it on for only 10-15 minutes just to feel the coolness and turned it off immediately before my mom finds out...hahaha... Eventually i told her when we were all awake. But then when everyone got up of course we still were whining because of the heat that's when we found out what the temp is. I feel like I'm gonna die....
When we told my sister about how hot was it yesterday and previously, she said she won't last staying here and will surely die.... hahaha This is damn crazy. In a while, I'm turning on the A/C. I wish I can buy ice for my halo-halo.
Then, I need to continue studying as well...
What do you do to cool you down?

I spend most of my time in the tree house and in the roof to escape the heat and high cost of air-conditioning.

even a small swing set outside the house would be nice.

@hereandthere staying out in a place cool like under a tree would save us some power cost except when there is no other option then turn the AC or the fan. Another option is take a bath

It's too hot here as well for more than a week already. Our dogs are getting sick that I think was due to the hot weather.

@Softncuddly we have an air conditioner in the living room for our dogs. This morning one of our dogs has sore eyes again, he had difficulty in opening his eyes,. Now it is already afternoon here and his eyes look a bit normal although he is always sleeping.

@Alexandoy, poor dog. When we had big dogs we use to have the A/C open 24hrs. But this time, we don't have the dogs anymore. I hope he gets well soon.

I know it's hot in your area as well. Poor dogs, that's why we are sharing our fan to our dogs too. This heat is terrible... So what do you do to beat the heat there...?.

@Softncuddly True! But maybe just have some crushed ice with nothing on it. That will still refreshing! Although halo-halo is better.

As much as I want to eat ice cream, I need to control because of my weight and sugar. I was actually craving for halo halo but again...control..... this is bad...hahahahaha
I took a shower thrice today.... omg...hahaha...

we already got ours and it was double what we usually pay. (we don't use the a/c) there is a note in the bill that it will be adjusted once actual meter reading resumes.

It's really very bad thing but hear also we have very hot so my kids always turn on AC ,i am also same fear on electricity bill this month..but there is no way to escape from it..
If possible take bath with cold water it give some relief..

this time has been so difficult with all the expenses. I don't know what will happen to all of us at this time.
