Tuesday Was So-So

I didn't make any "plans" for today because rain was supposed to move in right at dark. I decided I would do my routine chores and just relax. My hubby went shopping today. He wanted a cart to put his air compressor on because he is tired of hauling it in and out of the shed due to the fact that it is heavy. He found one and came home and put it together. I got to assist in picking up the air compressor and putting it on the cart. I made a comment that the cart will come in handy doing yard work. He informed me that the air compressor was staying on the cart and not coming off. Oh well. Our rain never happened. It's after midnight now and still no rain. I wonder now if we will get any rain at all. It was supposed to be over with by dawn so we only have a few more hours if we get any. I'm glad I went ahead and watered the garden late this afternoon. My other accomplishment was putting in another order for grocery pick up. We will pick that one up on Friday. That was the first available date. It is a bit scary at how many things are out of stock, and then on pick up day more things are out of stock. With plants throwing out food due to possible contamination and/or shutting down, this is a bit disturbing to know we may have a food shortage in the near future. Tomorrow I will be hanging out at the house again as tomorrow night is one of hubby's work nights for May. We will have an early dinner and then sit up and wait for him to get off at midnight and back home. That's my story for today. Nothing exciting at all. How was your day? @amitkokiladitya You can still find some fun things to do for yourself and your child. Look around in nature. What can you draw, them color? Have a scavenger hunt to look for certain things. A nice and quiet walk alone to appreciate nature. There are lots of things.

@kareng that is true. But when you don't have any earnings but expenses are high.. nothing seems attractive

Most of us are just hanging out at home because of the lock down. When is your state opening up?

No set date for MS. Things were supposed to start re-opening on Monday but the governor pulled back on that with the virus numbers all up.

@cherriefic That is fine with me. We started staying at home when Louisiana was hit with the virus which was several weeks before Mississippi. Most of my family is in Louisiana.

@kareng If it's for your own protection, that should be OK.

My hubby has been looking for one to put the generator on and leave it. If he finds one I am sure I will be helping load

Thankfully we don't have too many shortages at all in our supermarket. There was even flour available last time we went shopping.

I'm all stocked up on flour. Now that the initial shock is over bread is always in stock at our local Dollar General. Now if we can just get toilet paper back in stock on regular basis we will be good!

I think he spends half of his time looking for items to make things easier on him. Watch and see, he won't use this piece of equipment for at least 3 months now.

@kareng The other day there was a bolt of lightning which I had never seen that kind before it was like two huge bare wires had touched together in the sky and there was a huge bang like it had hit something and huge sparks flying off it something like a firework going off. Stay safe and well as much as you can.

Yay! That's awesome and I hope that they stay in stock now. I'm still good with our supply here so have another two weeks maybe before the man starts saying we need more. LOL. I'm betting by the end of the week he will be reminding me to put it on the shopping list.
