Tomato Soup & Crackers for Dinner

A chill has been in the air all day today. Even with the sunshine, the temps only got to 55 degrees.
I love the cool weather. Had to get my flannel shirt back out.
Decided to have tomato soup with a dollop of sour cream and Ritz crackers for dinner. I love soup on chilly nights. I would have made some in the crock pot but didn't realize their would be such a chill.

I was just thinking about tomato soup! I thought I had some in the pantry, so I was going to have a bowl for lunch. But nope, didn't have any. But I made up for it, I cooked some chicken wings on the grill for dinner tonight. I will add tomato soup to my grocery list so I can have some in the near future! Hope you enjoyed your soup!

@CarolDM Not only is tomato soup delicious (I love to have it with grilled cheese sandwiches), but it's also very cheap, so it's easy to stock up and keep multiple cans on hand.

@CarolDM Yeah, I have tons of chicken noodle soup in my pantry, and a few other varieties. Soup is always a good standby. I just wish it wasn't so high in sodium or else I would eat it every day.

I have a nice stock of tomato soup and Ritz in my pantry. With the weather getting cold again soup is good food

I do enjoy tomato soup. I might get some to have for our chilly day on Saturday, but actually, I have been eating a lot of tomatoes. I might look for another kind.
