I really can do these quizzes in my sleep!

Yesterday evening I was lying on the sofa with the TV on the Challenge channel, which mainly shows a succession of quiz shows. I had been watching an episode of The Chase, but must have dosed off. I was next aware of hearing a quizmaster posing questions to two pairs of contestants. I was apparently there in the same room and thought I was taking part in the quiz. The idea was that if you knew the answer you pressed your buzzer - the problem was that I didn't have a buzzer! I knew most of the answers, but the only way to attract the quizmaster's attention was to raise my hand, which is what I did. However, he ignored me every time. Most frustrating! As I became more conscious I realized that I was watching a very old edition of Bullseye - and was not in the studio taking part! However, the questions I had been hearing were real enough, and I did know most of the answers. If you ever thought "I could answer these in my sleep" - you might well be right!

Haha. Maybe it's time you put your name down for a quiz show.

I did once in my youth - I was on Radio 4's "Brain of Britain" but didn't get very far!

@JudyEv If you have good general knowledge, the percentage of correct answers you give should be consistent, depending on the level of the quiz involved. Brain of Britain was certainly at a different level to Bullseye!

@indexer To some degree, it all depends on the questions you're asked, doesn't it?

I enjoy watching The Chase. Being able to answer those questions in your sleep certainly is a talent

They were actually Bullseye questions - maybe not so difficult!
