A fall at home ....has she broken her hip ?

I saw a post on social media that the mother of someone I know has had a fall at home … She is in her 80's and lives alone and although she is usually quite spritely , today she had a bit of a tumble at home. With all this corona virus going on phoning for an ambulance and going to hospital was not high on her list but her daughter thought ….quite rightly ...that things had to be checked out. So they went to hospital and waited for hours, as you, do to be seen.... After a long time and x rays it was discovered that the hip was not broken. Although she is badly bruised and her hip hurts like Billy Oh, she is going to be okay.
