Well today was an interesting day on MyLot as usual. I love hearing what everyone is up to and what's going on in your lives. I get to know you better this way.
Today's photo is also open to captions for those that want to participate! It has been fun to read your contributions.
It's going to seem weird to actually get dressed up and LEAVE THE HOUSE on Thursday for my eye doctor appointment. My husband wants me to drive; so now I'm getting anxious about that. (I've driven very little in the past 10 years.)
Everyone have a good evening, morning, afternoon and stay safe and healthy. I will see you again on Wednesday.

A horse walked into a bar. The bartender said, "Why the long face?"
I spent a great deal of my day on video conference calls with various components of my staff. We're all working on finalizing our recommended guidelines for re-opening our facilities and programs, and so today I was reviewing those draft guidelines with each team and making sure we were hammering out all of the kinks. Starting Friday, we are going to go to each facility and role play with those guidelines in hand to make sure they actually work in the real world. I'm sure we'll do a lot of editing as we "act out" each plan in test phase. Fun stuff.
Oh, and I did go grocery shopping. That was probably the highlight of my day.

@LindaOHio Just got home from the pools. Our walk-throughs and role-playing scenarios went really well. We discovered a bunch of things we hadn't thought of that needed to be written into our guidelines. And it was a warm day out there today, so it felt hot being outside on the pool decks for such a long period of time.

If I was asked to drive I would be very nervous and uncomfortable. I have a license for many many years but don't drive.

@lovebuglena He wants me to be able to be more independent, especially if something happens to him. Plus he wants me to drive on vacation. Lots of freeway driving...I'm nervous already!

When I retired on disability, my husband took me to all of my appointments; but he wants me to get comfortable with driving again. He wants me to do some of the driving on our trip. That will freak me out.
