Since March 15th, Weight Watchers has held meetings on Zoom. I don't love attending them, but I am glad they figured out something.
I am glad I get to "see" the other members.
Last night, our leader suggested we stand or do some type of exercise for the duration of the meeting.
So, I dragged myself off my comfy cushions and did my arm routine. That felt good.
I had my camera and microphone off, so I couldn't be seen or heard.
Have you ever attended a stand up meeting?
The picture is my weights. Since I only have one five pound weight, I made the second one.

Hey, it works!
I have a shake weight, does that count? Probably not.
I have not attended one, no.

@paigea It's one of those "As Seen On TV' doo-dads. It's meant to be a sort of resistance thing I think, you shake it and it distributes the weight, toning your arms.

@bunnybon7 Makes sense. Did it help keep the meetings short?

I don't belong to WW, actually gave up my membership because I hadn't used the app in a long time. No sense paying for it when you don't use it.

@ElusiveButterfly Yes! At the beginning of our meeting, the leader said to remind family to be wearing clothes if they came in the room

@paigea That's how I conduct meetings at my pools I manage. I'll grab the pool supervisor, or a lifeguard, and say, "walk with me." And of course the first thing they say is "Am I in trouble?" Haha, no, it's just easier to have private conversations, or to show you things that need to be done, if we're walking.

@paigea I don't like standing in one spot so would also look for ways to move--lol!

Wow.
Tide, havent seen Tide in the stores here in years.
I have never attended a stand up meeting before.
I should go to weight watchers though.
Maybe when the pandemic is over. That would be a good time to start.

@JimBo452020 I am determined not to. I have the great outdoors to keep me for and away from the food.

We are using ZOOM for various things. It is great not to have to drive for an hour when you can just spend a few minutes online, isn't it?
