It says on the cover that this book is` a guide to the art of robbery' and it certainly is. There are chapters full of stories from real people who had turned to crime but were reformed characters by the time this book was published. They told the author in great detail about the way they made a living from different sorts of robbery including; house breaking, shoplifting, picking pockets etc. But as this book was published in 1964 I don't think it would be of any use to today`s would be criminals.

True thinking about the Hatton garden heist. The old codgers were unaware that they were tracked and traced by their mobile phones!

They must have forgotten about their phones in all the excitement.

It would have been for criminals in the 1960s.
