Wow, I totally missed posting here yesterday. I think it was an odd day yesterday. Tuesday night I could not sleep, I didn’t get to sleep till about 2 am but then only slept till about 4:30 am. I was up till about 10:30 am on Wednesday and fell asleep till noon. That was still only 4 hours of sleep. So I laid there hoping to fall asleep again. I did fall back to sleep pretty quickly and woke up about 4:30 pm. I was so confused on what day it was, I thought I posted here but didn’t. I ended up spending the evening just watching some reruns of The Office. I really didn’t feel like doing anything at all. I made soup and a sandwich since it was easy. I got nothing planned today I think I will vacuum the house and just chill out for the day. It is suppose to rain all day so it sounds like a good day to just lay around all day and do a lot of nothing. Hope you all enjoy your day/night.

Yesterday was weird for me, too. I had to get up early for a doctor appointment, and it messed my sleep up for the day.

I think it is all the boredom that is making everyone so sleepy at odd hours of the day.

Glad your day went ok but sorry you didn't get much sleep. I've had nights like that too but it wasn't fun. I worked all week and now I have 4 days off so i'm going to enjoy my long weekend. I have no plans today either besides making some banana bread and then just watching some TV, read my book & maybe do some more coloring. Still not much one can do with this virus going on.

Enjoy your cleaning. I'm going to be getting offline for a bit, in a bit as well. I need to fold the laundry I had started, and get a few other things done as well.

@amitkokiladitya Yes, since this lockdown and not really having a schedule to follow, it has gotten a lot worse for me.

Why didn't you have a good or enough sleep? Is something wrong?

@Nakitakona Yes, it has been a issue since I was a teen. I guess I just sleep when I can a just deal with being tired. Not a whole lot I can do about it.

@Bensen32 I see. It's already a consistent problem. How do you go about it? Meaning how do you recover your sleeplessness?

I couldn't sleep the other night, and it was awful the next day I wasn't worth very much, but I made up for it last night.

Since my teen daughter missed watching all of The Office with us last year, NOW she's into it, so we're watching them all over again. But we don't mind - we love The Office humor. I'm keeping everyone on routine here - with sleep, meals, etc - I think keeping structured helps to keep the body and mind in check.

@Bensen32 My friend is working from home now . . . and she posted a photo of herself on FB. She wore her professional clothing (she is a department head at a college) and someone asked why on earth was she dressed for work if she was working from home. She said that she found that she is more productive when she is not in her pajamas. I realized then how true that was. I mean, I am a stay at home mom, but I never sleep in or hang out in my pajamas . . . I will say sticking to routine and looking my best does make me do my best . . . play the part, as they say?

@much2say I suppose that does have some truth to it, we tend to be more motivated if we get up and get ready like we have something to do rather than just roll out of bed and don't get moving.

Yea, it's a good show. Having a normal routine is very good, just wish I could stay on it.
