Put my laptop in a drawer

United States

One hundred and eleven will have to do for now. I'm much too distracted to focus on it at the moment. I'm not even sure I want to focus on mylotting. What I really want to do is put my laptop in a drawer, place my blankets on the dresser, and wash the other things that need it. Then I want to tilt my mattress up, followed by the boxspring. An aspirin will be needed for this, and music. Not instrumental, no something else. Will I regret starting? Most likely. Will I persist? Most likely. Measuring first though. That's what I need to do, is measure again. How are you spending your Saturday?

Walked, watched tv, had lunch, watching tv again. Have to pay on phones in a bit and will get ice cream from the parlor. Then who knows.

Yum, it's definitely hot enough here to justify ice cream. I hope you have a good rest of the weekend. What's your favorite ice cream flavor?

@Courtlynn that's still pretty yummy. Do you put any sprinklers or anything on it? I tend to do more frozen yogurt than ice cream. I like cookie dough ,cookies and cream or birthday cake flavor the most.

I have mazes around reading a book. Now I am going to turn over the compost. Will I persist? Unlike you, I am likely to quit part way through and take it up another day Then I will sew a face mask. I sewed one yesterday. Want to try another style.

Times like this is when I wish I was decent with needlecraft. Lots of people can use a facemask or two. I persisted. I mean, sure, there's more I could be doing... But I did quite a lot already. I'm just waiting for my comforter to dry and then I'll make the bed and be done for the day.

@paigea I have not seen the t-shirt version of the mask. I have seen lots of people on the news wearing the bandana type. I miss having a garden in the yard, but I know little to nothing about it. We are having wood chips put in some areas of the yard.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Sounds like you did plenty. My compost is half shoveled out and I am taking a long break I did do some weeding. There is a tee-shirt version of the mask that requires no sewing.

No cleaning for me today - the weather is too nice to be in doors. Tomorrow is supposed to rain so I'll save my cleaning for then. Hope you get it all done and then you can enjoy the rest of your day.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Thanks. I got outside for a little while but the wind was a bit chilly. It's nice if you stay in the sun though.

@Blondie2222 I like a bit of a windy day, as long as there is plenty of sunshine. We are hot here again today, but tomorrow we are to expect thunderstorms.

It's sunny today and hot, but it is supposed to be overcast tomorrow. Almost done - for now. Enjoy your day today.

My Saturday is not as productive as yours sounds like it will be. I am just chilling out today and doing nothing but enjoying myself on MyLot which is proving to be a pleasant way to spend my day,

I am glad you are enjoying your day. I will be done for now, atleast after the comforter dries and I can make my bed.

@maggs224 It will make it much easier when friends come over to help. I still need to do some things before then, but I am halfway to the point where they can come and assist.

That sounds like a good way to pass the time. I plan to be on here as much as I can today, but I also want to do some writing (since I did so little yesterday) and I need to do some household chores.

I'm listening to one dog bark at the other for no reason in particular I can see. And I'm trying to not have to get out, but I know I have to. In short, I'm lazy and you are not.

Oh, I am pretty lazy myself. Just not today. To be honest, I need to make sure that I do everything that needs doing NOW. I mean, with the exception of the entertainment center. I don't want to have to rearrange again.

I agree, so when the mood strikes for me to do something, I do it. Sleep Well.
