Am I Doing Enough?

Am I doing enough to keep myself safe during this time of uncertainty with the Covid19 pandemic? I stay home most days. When I do go out, it is only to a place where there is a drive up window at the tobacco store or a store where I don't have to touch the door handle to enter and exit. When I do go into that store, I now wear a face covering. I have been washing my hands after handling bags and items that have been delivered from a grocery store and after making in-person purchases. I use hand sanitizer after I touch the washer and dryer in the laundry room here at the apartment complex and then wash my hands after I get back home after being at the laundry room. I use hand sanitizer after I leave the store that has the automatic doors. Now that more businesses and restaurants are opening back up, I am still not comfortable enough to go there. When will I even be comfortable enough to go to the grocery store? Am I being overly cautious? Who knows? One thing I do know is I do not want to get sick.

Sounds like you're taking all the precautions necessary. I won't go anywhere for a long time.

@bluerubymoon53 I just got an order delivered from Hobby Lobby so that should keep me busy for awhile.

I don't think you are being over cautious at all. We still don't know enough about this virus to get too cautious. It will be with us for long time.

@bluerubymoon53 I am really afraid so many don't want to wear masks or social distance.

I think you have done all you can do to stay safe. A lot of people aren't going any place extra even though some states have opened again.

I know I'm not going to go anyplace extra than I am now for at least a few more months. I might even cut back a little bit on getting out and about and just go for a drive once a week in my car which is my bubble now. As long as my food can be delivered, I should be ok.

I will also continue to do these things especially the hand sanitizer after touching just about anything for a very long time

I still have 2 little bottles of hand sanitizer. I'm going to have to really start hunting for more now before I run out.
