One friend said that we are entering a new era that is bereft of social graces. I have to agree because the corona virus is preventing us to do what we used to do about social manners and mannerisms. No talking at close range, no touching, no more gathering, and no more physical activities with other people.
Just my thoughts. Nothing serious.

To me, social means other people outside the family.

We cannot even talk close up anymore. There should be 6 feet distance.

@msdivkar oh, I am sure that I am protected if I am 6 feet away from the person. You don't even know if that person is sick or not. I know the facts that is why I know I am safe. Only the fools are scared stiff because they believed in fake news.

@Alexandoy I just get easily irritated when people keep on bumping me in the streets.

Me too. It is not really good to be near people especially in tropical countries where body odor is a possibility.

It is bringing about the breakdown of society and creating alienation.

That is the word I was thinking - alienation.

@Alexandoy well the virus will be here, and we will be here.
What choice do we have?

We are going to miss the social gathering and the way we interact with people. It is like being silly when talking with someone who is 6 feet away.

You are right. That is also on my mind because talking by phone is safe.

I think we also need to consider how to interact and communicate well, without those things that are not good to do now.

Yes, we are entering a new era of a different social norm.

If the virus stays for long, we would get used to the anti-social norm.
