Jeepney's Cubicles: Seriously?!?

When I went out today, I did a little exploration. Here is what I had seen inside the jeepneys in my city now. The jeepneys' drivers need to install cubicles. I anticipate more changes will come. My city is in the status of General Community Quarantine (GCQ). We still continue the schedule of being lockdown. Are there any changes in your place? Image Credit: assets.rappler.com

We don't have jeepneys here but the government has instructed taxi operators to carry only 3 people per taxi - that's including the driver, so only two passengers.

Same thing here. Most of the transportations need to limit their passengers. However, the fare is so expensive now.

@Shavkat That's good to hear - that's the best way of staying safe. It's so frustrating how the price of everything has gone up. I'm glad I have my car now and don't have to put up with it.

@Lushlala It cannot be controllable now. The goods' prices are still spiking.

The plastic dividers seem quite a good idea. Many things have changed recently but now our area is getting back to normal.

I hope that everything will be normal soon. In the meantime, I am not going to ride on jeepneys.

No there are no changes in the structure of the buses but social distancing is enforced.

How many passengers are allowed to ride on a bus? In my city, passengers are limited. I am not sure about the buses in the capital of my country.

I had seen some new markers on the road, too. I will try to take some photos next time. It aims to maintain social distancing in the wet market.

In my city, we are still in GCQ. Even though there are available jeepneys here, I still prefer to do brisk walking.

Woah this is interesting. Only 8 persons. Will the fare be tripled?

I heard the fare is doubled. I never dared to ride one of the jeepneys here during the lockdown. I prefer to walk for now.

Looks like that will be the normal now that jeepneys will have since every passenger must have certain distance to the other passengers alighting. I am wondering if they implement something different from collecting payments.

That's what I haven't seen inside the jeepney. I am planning not to ride on it. I think it is still being passed on from passenger to another.

The plastic does not appear to be in front of people, so I do not think that will do much good. A lot of places have plexiglass shields to protect us from the employees of a store. We also have 6 feet apart markers on the floor, and we must shop the store in a certain pattern.

It seems that you are well-updated, my friend. If you are not going out, then how can you have your needs at home? Is there some who can help you there?

I saw that on tv too, we opt to stay and work from home for the time being.

It is a good thing that I have been working at home for more than 6 years now. It is safer to be at home in the meantime.
