It's more than two months since the last time I stepped up this mall in our locals. Before the lockdown, they already have thermal scanner at the entrance to check the temperature of mall goers. However, physical distancing was not mandated at that time.
Today, I have had a transaction at one of the government agencies located at the next level of the mall.
Since our place is now under general community quarantine, some businesses and offices are opening its doors to the public, however the mall goer must have an identification documents with him/ her, wore mask, and follow the mall safety protocol.
I arrived there and witnessed the long queue of shoppers at the groceries entrance. They couldn't simultaneously go inside and must wait for their turns. And because physical distancing is mandatory, the mall management provided foot marker at the line to ensure the proper distance required.
I have different path so I queued at the line where I was heading towards. Same procedure to underwent upon entering. I'm just glad, there weren't many people on that line but at the office of my destination, a number of people have waited for their respective turns in same scenario. I'm glad it did not take so long for me to do my transaction there. More or less than an hour only since the manpower in every window were at full force and fast to process.
