I will be here until the site boots me out again.
The rain is back, with a vengeance. I will not get to mow.
Of course it rained today. We, as staff, gathered at the school to be present when families picked up their lunches today, to wish them off to a happy summer.
In other news, the 2020 Census called to offer me a chance for an enumerator job. It will depend on how I do in my training phase. They will be contacting me in about four days.
It is cool and I have cooked a little bit. I made a batch of granola of a kind hubby can eat.
I made butternut squash soup.
There are dishes that need washing. I should make some kind of bread or biscuits, or both.

oh! I've done enumerator work before. You should do FINE on the training. Be consistent. Be accurate. Follow all directions to a T.

Yep. I did it three years ago. Getting signed up, etc. is a lot different this time. You could probably do this. I bet they are still hiring.

Sunny and warm so I did the laundry and hung it out to dry.

Well Saturday here, we had sun all day in spite of the forecast. If it is supposed to work out for the census, it will. Ten years ago I was hired, trained, and then all local jobs were filled. I had to go out of town to Western Kansas.

Mine was good, weather was quite nice so I enjoyed a drink outside, apart from that I was just pottering on.
