Anxious

Anxious isn't quite the word I am looking for. Restless might be a better word for it, but I'm not sure that's a good word to describe it either. One word I know I need is distracted That is what I need to do, and accept is another. I need to accept that I've done a little bit today, and that it is enough. So What am I going to do to help myself? I'm going to remember I'm going to remember that what I'm experiencing now isn't a setback. [][][] We interrupt this discussion to bring to your attention an issue that has just occurred within the household [][][] [i]So, I was just typing this discussion up when I heard a ringing sound as if a phone was ringing. my phone is all the way in my room, on the other side of the house. Then I heard what sounded like mumbling, but of course there are people outside... Both, however sounded like they were coming from inside the house. The ringing especially Yeah, just a tad bit... creepy. [][][] Back to your regularly scheduled discussion [][][] What do you do when you are feeling anxious / restless / uneasy and need to relax?

There's usually nothing that will relax me...not even meds.

I have taken nerve pills before, but it's been years. This isn't to that level which I'm grateful for. I'm sorry nothing seem to relax you. It's not a fun feeling being anxious.

Music always helps me. Other times sitting in the screen room, deep breathing exercises. Just depends.

Music is a really good way to ground yourself. I do that too.

It depends. Today a walk helped the house was getting on my nerves. Sometimes just getting away from it a few minutes will help.

For me, it's my writing. I feel like I'm not doing enough, but I've written over 18,000 words so... I know I've done enough. I'm just having trouble with this part.
