Vitamin C is good for you

Today I am going to discuss Vitamin C. Many people take it for granted but it is a very important nutrient. It protects you from infections such as the common cold and it helps builds up your immunity to ward of viruses .It also helps you to absorb iron. So if you are not able to eat fresh fruits you can take a Vitamin C supplement daily.

It is one of the few vitamins that cannot be produced by one's own body so taking supplements is important. I take at least 1,000 milligrams of Vitamin C.

Any excess is discarded via urine if I'm not mistaken.

My mother-in-law is very diligent in drinking lemon juice or lemon slices soaked in water for almost 12 hours, so that it becomes infused water and vitamin C is an antioxidant for the skin and her immune system until now her skin is tight and still beautiful at the age of 56
