Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to you my dear mylotters
I woke up good but the weather here looks like it`s going to rain but that`s ok. I like it Today, my mind is about my breakfast lunch or brunch food.
I prepared a tuna fish in can fried it with garlic and onions and then mix it with rice and some vegetables. Oh so delicious.
How about you my dear mylotters What do you like with your tuna fish in can? Fried or eat it plain?
I hope you can share it with me here
Have a great day and Happy mylotting

We also cook the canned tuna in almost the same way with garlic and onion. And then we eat with rice or bread.

I buy the packaged tuna now instead of the can. I like it in a salad with eggs, celery, onion, and tomato, or in a casserole with spaghetti squash, celery, onion, and mushrooms with a white sauce I make. I'm actually planning to make that soon.

@hereandthere canned tuna drained, throw in some onions, egg, breadcrumbs, all purpose flour, seasoning, salt and pepper, a little bit of sugar (optional) You just mix them all, form a ball or patty, deep fry. Actually you can add other veggies like carrots, cabbages, bell pepper whatever you can think of that suits your taste.

I like to eat it plain with mayo, and other condiments, and make it into sandwiches.

I can eat it straight out of the can provided I have calamansi or native lemon, some chopped raw onions and a red hot chili pepper. My wife sautees or fries it similar to what you do.

I usually don't eat tuna fish out of a can, I prefer buying my fish fresh at the seafood market. But the other day, I bought a can of pink salmon and a can of albacore tuna, with the plans to use them to make sandwiches. But I was so hungry the other day that I just opened the can of tuna and ate it right out of the can! LOL

@m_audrey6788 It tastes like fish, so it's not bad, but I prefer cooking fresh-caught fish! I do a lot of fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, so I always have fresh fish to throw on the grill! I eat a lot of grouper, snapper, yellow-fin tuna, and bluefish.

Frying it sounds weird to me but we make it with noodles and cream soup for a type of casserole but we cook it in the stove rather than the oven.

I usually put it in a salad cabbage salad or a green salad. Or I can do a sandwich. If I do a sandwich, I chop some onion, celery, and bell pepper, fresh herbs, roasted sesame seeds and mayo. Sometimes I add dried cranberries to it. Never fried it before. But it's chunk light tuna that I get.

we used to stir fry it with veggies to eat with rice. but now just make it into sandwich spread. i use a can of tuna with calamansi and a can of mackerel then add mayo, pepper, celery or raisins, whichever is available.

Sounds like a good meal. I make tuna for my Sabbath meal and put salad in a bowl and Russian dressing on it and than on top of that.
