When I checked out the news in the morning, I was surprised to see this news. Domestic Flight services have resumed in India, but with many modifications and restrictions like
- Much lesser number of flights per day
- Passengers given face shields to wear throughout the air journey.
- Aarogya Setu App to distinguish passengers who are totally well, and those with some symptoms.
- Thermal screening to check if any suspected or unwell cases do not travel.
- No food being served during the flight.
Some states are following institutional or home quarantine for traveling passengers.
This would also ensure that no one travels without a very urgent need.
So well, the flights are not meant for tourists as of now.
Yet, the risks are still there in the air travel.

That is why it is so dangerous. And so many precautions have to be followed.

@DianneN unless one has a desperate need, one ought to avoid flying for a long time. I recently read about 23 Indians evacuated from places in US, landing in India, and found Covid positive.
And even with precautions, the virus can still spread on flights.

Yes I can understand but having crowds suddenly at one place is not right.

Your wishes would come true. Yet avoid flying for the next few months, unless you have some very urgent need.

Yes but as the passengers would be quarantined at their destination only those with a critical need would travel.
