I guess it is for the best the cookout was cancelled.
It is rainy and gray.
We could find something to do, but my reasoning is that there will be lots of people "exploding" out of shut down and not being safe. We will go when not everyone is so anxious to cut loose and party.
Meanwhile, I am planning where to put my iris my friend gave me. You are supposed to let them dry when freshly dug, then plant them. I planted the two dwarf ones up front by the bird bath. I will link to pictures. They are called "Bugsy" and "Firestorm"
This is Bugsy and I will add the other later.
I will make a place for the others along side my "She Shed" I am so happy she shared.

Did I miss pictures? I love Iris. Here is the link to the other dwarf, "FireStorm" I hope these beauties she shared bloom next year.

That would be my concern. We went to Wal Mart and Dillons for some needed items and Wal Mart made me crazy.

I have actually been to your town while traveling cross country. We were on the highway and it was raining so badly we came on in to town. I bet it was Memorial Day as there was a parade.

@sallypup The stores, especially Wal Mart, made me uneasy. I can handle being outdoors and socially distant, or with a very few people I know. None of the Wal Mart customers have any sense.

We have a large 20 x25 foot shed full of tools and all the 'stuff' but not specifically his. Mine is full of fabric, yarn, and home decor. We need a small one "up front" in our yard for just the mowers, too. We have enough property we could add more. The big shed will eventually have electricity for the power tools and air compressor.

@GardenGerty Our 'big shed' is down the paddock and the smaller workshop is very close to the house. It has the power tools and all the bits and pieces. The caravan, mower and tractor are in the big shed.

we were supposed to have some sun today, but its been grey, with fog now moving in it seems.. did had a little rain when I was still sleeping, too. ugh. was looking forward to sitting out back for a bit and taking a walk.

We have had lots of slow rain all day. It is not actively raining now so my neighbor went out and mowed his front lawn. I always thought you were not supposed to mow when the grass and soil were wet.
