I Still Have My Twelve-Hundred

Even though I am pretty much retired from work, I'm doing okay financially during this time of the Covid19 pandemic. I have a monthly Social Security deposit from which I can pay my rent (utilities are all included in the rent), buy groceries, pay for the car insurance, buy gasoline for the car, and purchase other needed items.
Early this month of May, I received the twelve-hundred dollar Economic Impact Payment from the U.S.A. federal government. I still have the paper check. I don't feel quite comfortable yet to go to the bank during this current pandemic. I might venture out to the bank in a week or two so that I can deposit it into my account.
Anybody else still have their twelve-hundred?

I am so glad that your Social Security helps with not only the rent but other things as well. I am waiting for mine to come.

Happy for you that you`re financially good. We don`t have something like that here. You`re lucky.

I thought mine was going to be direct deposited, but I got the paper check in the mail instead. My bank has an app but I just haven't fiddled with that yet.

@bluerubymoon53 Huh. Maybe it had to do with your tax return? My bank has an app too. But I'm not able to do mobile banking with my phone.

Glad you're doing okay financially. My husband who is from US also has received the twelve hundred dollars.
