This is the story of two rather naïve cowboy brothers who get headhunted to play basketball in New York. The brothers travel from their home in New Mexico to New York in an old truck which they have refurbished into a makeshift home for their journey. The journey takes ages and they have many adventures along the way. Although the biggest adventures start when they get to their destination. This is a very funny story and although it was written in 1969, it has a modern day feel to it.
