Hoofing It or Strolling

Most of my myLot friends know that I am a walker and enjoy other exercise and sports, as well. I have been a walker for almost 23 years.
My husband loves working out at the gym and playing sports.
However, these days, we are only able to walk, hike in our woods, or workout to Youtube ideos.
I love a fast paced morning walk alone. In other words, without hubs. He can’t keep up the pace or distance I am used to doing. He isn’t used to hoofing it.
So we walk together every afternoon at a good pace for hubs.
In the evening, we go for stroll, so slowly, that we hold hands. That’s my favorite way to walk.

Every day you prove that romance is still alive. It's hard to walk with someone who isn't at the same pace as you. I would be so far behind you that you would lap me over and over again

@DianneN when I go outside with Gizmo he's a lollygagger so we mosey along at the same pace. My daughter is a fast walker so she takes Mush who loves a good walk.

Be thankful! I cannot tell you how many times a day hubs makes me stop what I’m doing for a hug and a kiss.
Even when I’m myLotting, he comes to kiss me on the head or asks for a hug. I lose my train of thought.
But I wouldn’t want it any other way.

@LowRiderX We only talk to the neighbors on either side of us when we’re out in the yard or wave to people if they are in their yards when we see them. Not many people here.

@DianneN That’s great, I intentionally mentioned nature because I live in an urban neighborhood. I don't like to walk here, because I always meet someone from a neighbor

I love the walking slowly with holding hands. So sweet. I walk with my husband and he walks faster than me and that`s very challenging to me whenever we will have a walk. He said that it`s more effective to loose weight by walking a little faster than ordinary walk

We walk 3 times a day with the dog but always hold hands. Mrs. WorDazza occasionally complains that I walk too fast but she's fit enough to keep up.
She refuses to run with me though. She even insists I take a different route so I don't embarrass her. Not sure if that's because I'm a lot faster than her or she doesn't want anyone to know she knows me!!

Good idea and don't ever go alone. I go out only during sunup. Sometimes I come home late but very rarely.
