Afghan Again

Well, I know never to trust any estimated time when it comes to the postal service. The tracking suggested that it would be here between 1 and 5 pm, but the mail did not arrive until a few moments ago.
I'm not bothered, I knew it was coming today.
What do you think? I'm not crazy about the red on darker red square, but there's plenty of other bright squares. I think it's a nice addition.

Me too! I will "rescue" one more before I call it quits.
A few years ago we got rid of a quilt rack (I'm pretty sure we did, but I'll check) and I am sort of regretting that. I don't have a place for it in my room yet, but I will eventually. Might have to buy another.

@LindaOHio To be quite honest with you, I've also considered a cedar chest but well... That would take up more room, and I am trying to avoid cluttering the room up again. A quilt rack would also keep them on display and easily accessible.

I like the stitching pattern of the black yarn. I did not do a good job of showing the pattern here, but it's nice. I wasn't sure I'd much like a tasseled blanket, but I do.

There is a pink that is really pretty against the black too. The only thing I'm not really a fan of is the red on red.

@simone10 It's not really much better in real life. I'm wondering if that was just scrap yarn they had, or whether they thought it looked good. I like all the other squares, but that red on the darker red just doesn't go together.

I wasn't sure I'd be a fan of the tassles at the end, but they aren't so bad. It's slightly bigger than the average lap blanket.
