Frog goes to school

India
May 27, 2020 7:40am CST
I remember a funny incident of my childhood. It was raining very heavily while me and my classmates were waiting for the bus at the bus stop. The school bags were heavy then and we just kept our school bags in one corner of the stop and started enjoying the rain. After about 15 minutes our bus arrived and we boarded our school bus carrying our bags. We soon reached our school and then our classroom. A friend of mine wanted to play some trick on me by hiding my pencil box without my knowledge. He opened my bag without my knowledge and out popped a big frog . He screamed and ran out while the frog just hopped away. Me and my friends had a hearty laugh. The frog must have entered the bag at the bus stop as my guarding angel. School days are fun. Do you agree.

We have snakes that come to school occasionally. Usually they just sun themselves on the nice smooth entry slope up to the music building (where I teach). But once, one got in, panicked and ran, er, slithered fast, to a corner and tried to climb up the wall. One of our maintenance men grabbed a plastic store bag and scooped it out. They are all garden snakes and not poisonous.
