There has got to be something in the air because working away and listening to my Favorites on YouTube I am singing along and suddenly I want to conga Gloria Estafan style. However, I know that if I went outside and started congoing down the street it would not be long that attention would be drawn to me. Someone would report the crazy dancing lady in the street and the police siren would sound. Now what I could say to them I don’t know it worked for Gene Kelly when he was dancing in the rain to just say he’s singing and dancing in the rain but then he was filming a movie. So I say it must be something in the air that has me feeling this way. It’s not a bad feeling but no one around here to share it with at least two dancing down the street seems more normal than one. Anyone want to join me? “Conga” was the first hit single by American band Miami Sound Machine with Gloria Estafan and was released in 1985.
