Riots and non social distancing

By now you probably heard about the unarmed black man killed by the crooked cop in Minnesota. Protests and riots and looting are going on there. All this violence has spread. Now there are protests and riots in many other American cities like Atlanta Georgia. I am not far from there.
I understand the cop was corrupt. I read he got arrested. I understand peaceful protests, but I don't understand the violence and looting.
Also, there is something very hypocritical about all these protests that the Media is letting slide,
Most of these protestors are NOT following social distancing protocols, no masks and way more than 10 people gathered. If there is a second wave of Covid, I am thinking the Patsy Media will be responsible.

I have seen all this. It is a shame that all this still happens. The inicial violence sadly brings out violence from other people.

I think the media and people blindly following the media is the problem. Notice how covid is no longer the talk of the town?
What that cop did was wrong, absolutely. I wanted to cry watching that but then I wanted to cry watching that black man beat the old white guy in the nursing home too. So much sadness.
Nothing wrong with protests.
Riots on the other hand are disastrous.
ETA: Oh and stay safe, you're a lot closer to the mess in Atlanta than I am.

I saw one post on FB showing one state of a peaceful protest. Picture shows people kneeling on one knee. Yes, the cop got arrested.

This is true. But a second wave was already mentioned coming this fall. So it'll probably just get here faster now. Ugh.

The whole thing is terrible. I did see in some cities that the crowds and the police did not have masks...in some cities I saw that most of them wore masks. There is sure to be a spike in COVID-19 where masks were not worn.
