I have point cards for every store that I use where they are available. I've had a drug store point card for about ten years, and until they got a branch in my neighborhood, I never collected enough points to get anything. Most stores let you use them as money when you reach 500 points (500 yen) but this store you can get goods. They are more points than I thought I would ever get. This store, being a drug and health store, has an app that keeps track of your walking and gives you points for that. I finally got 500 points from that the other day. I also was shopping at another store for a frying pan because the bottom of mine is not holding up well. As I passed the counter in the drug store I noticed a frypan exactly the size I wanted for points. So today, i went over and asked how many points I have: 2225 points. How much was the frypan: 2000 points. I finally got something free for all those points! Sometime in the next ten years maybe I will get something else. Do you have reward points or cashback at your stores? How do you use them?

I even told the person at the register that I had waited about ten years for this moment. They said it was very nice that I could get it and thank you for patronizing our store for so many years.

I just started bothering with them about a year ago, when I learned that I might have to retire sooner than I was expecting, and I was surprised at how much money was going to waste by my not using the points I'd collected.

Nice! We also have several here and we can redeem clothes or appliances. I think the best that I have redeemed so far is the stand fan:) the best thing in life are really those that are free! :)
