A touch of nostalgia

When looking through my daughter's wedding photos (two weddings in one year - so daughters is plural) this one especially strikes me as something Edouard Manet might have painted in one of the gardens in Paris. I could do with a day in Paris or Brugge or Munich or Venice right about now, I am missing travel like crazy and the only thing that keeps me settled and believing things are going to get better are my call back the past photos and memories. I am not sure how the pensioners in old aged homes cope being so cut off from the world - it must be horrible. Your thoughts are welcome on this lovely photo of my girls at one of the weddings. I think if Manet were alive today he would agree with me and surely paint this theme

I love that picture. I agree with you about Manet painting it. Your daughter is a beautiful bride.

Unfortunately I can’t see your photo, but it sounds lovely I miss travel too, but hopefully things will slowly get back to some kind of normal.

hello Marie - I was hoping to have your imaginations go wild. Sorry about that, it seems there was a size glitch and I had to repost the photo

No photo at the moment. And yes, it must be awful for those who are isolated in nursing homes.

I don't see a photo. Once a week my aunt can have a visitor, outside. They put up a tent for shelter/shade.

@Inlemay I haven't been to visit my aunt because it is 3 hours of driving round trip. And I am staying home these days. But maybe next week. I should find out about dropping things off. I have all her spring clothes! Lovely photo.
