A Surprise for Dinner Tonight!

Oh, how lucky are we?
Our son saved us some of his girlfriend’s secret, special, macaroni and cheese that she made him for dinner last night at his house. I know it’s made with love, and he raved about it.
I’m going to heat it and serve it as a side dish with the tuna fish sandwiches my husband wants for dinner tonight. It will be loaded with carbs, but I don’t care. I walked just over 11 miles today.
We don’t eat sugary desserts, so this will take its place. I see a stroll around our lane in our immediate future.

@marguicha My son wears a mask when he visits, doesn’t come into our house, and we social distance when we walk or hang out in the yard or on our deck. It’s as simple as that.

Wow you walked 11 miles and saying just 11 . You can eat as many as because i know you will burn calories by work and exercise. By the way its look delicious.

@DianneN That's so nice. Weather around us also effect when walk and sure beautiful things around you while you walk so you can't know when 11 miles finished

Wow! You are indeed lucky 
I love macaroni and cheese. It`s nice to have a taste of a homemade food especially when it comes from your future daughter in law

@kobesbuddy She used a smokey cheese and some hot peppers. She's so pleased that we liked it. Totally different than mine and ultra gourmet. This girl is a keeper!!!

@jayanth_77 Yes, both my boys are terrific cooks and my younger son is also a wonderful baker. I don't know where they learned, but it wasn't from me!
