This is how I deal with the scam calls now

scam calls

I must say that 99% unknown calls are scams. It is quite annoying. Now I have a good idea how to deal with it. When I pick up such a call, I will answer it in English and then the call will be hung up in another side. I hope they will mark me and then I will not be bothered in the future

That's tricky. What about the caller is English speaking? What are you going to do?

In my country, I think nobody will speak in English unless he/she is a foreigner

@Nakitakona I can write and speak with a foreign language I know. It has nothing to do for my nationality.

@youless But you're not a foreigner. You're a Chinese. Why do you write English?

The few spam calls I receive are in English or German, I reply in Italian and I tell them that I only speak Italian, problem closed.

Wish you could share this trick earlier and perhaps those scam calls won't bother us for such a long time

@youless It is so funny to play the silly woman who cannot understand a word of what they say.

Then you could say whatever you like, the other side won't understand it and guess it is a foreign language anyway

Maybe I should answer in a foreign language and see if it helps.

I heard that they will be punished a lot of money in your country. If so, then it can avoid most of the scam calls.

In fact I will add a new scan into the blacklist after the pickup. However, these calls still keep coming and this is annoying.
