Enjoying My Linner Right Now!

There's brunch for breakfast and lunch. Sometimes I do brunch. Sometime I do "linner". That's lunch and dinner. It's when lunch is served kind of late for lunch but it's a little bit too early for dinner. And also it's when the lunch is heavy. Like today, for linner, I am enjoying a huge plate of spaghetti. I know when dinner time rolls around, I'm not going to want to eat because I'll likely still be too full from lunch. So before I go to bed I'll probably have a light snack. Is that how you do it? If you eat a heavy lunch, do you usually skip dinner or eat a very light dinner? I've been eating this way for years. I can't have 2 heavy meals on the same day. If I eat one heavy meal, my other 2 meals have to be light. My late husband, because of his acid reflux, had to eat 6 small meals per day. I know they say it's not good to skip meals. But some people absolutely can not skip meals.

In my going out to lunch with the girls days, I always had a light dinner. I can't stand that heavy feeling. Oh, your pasta looks so good!!!!!

I often eat lunch at mid afternoon and don't want much for dinner. I'm good with a salad!

I like the term linner! My heaviest meal is usually lunch, which I doubt is a good idea.

So there is a name for lunch and dinner eaten together. LOL If I eat a big late lunch, I will eat a small snack later in the evening.

I eat more often and less. I had no idea what was "a linner" before you explained it.

If I skip a meal, I tend to develop lump on the throat but more than that a terrible headache. That's some creative name for a meal out there.

That is a new word, linner. But I do that as well. May have spaghetti later not sure. I often eat two meals a day.
