Spotted A Nugget in the Pine Tree

Went out to fill up the bird feeder earlier. Watered the roses and heard birds in the nearby pine trees. There are several 25 foot white pines along the back of the yard. Many times I have seen nests in these trees. While looking up do you see what I spotted in the photo? A large nest. Way too high for me to climb a ladder to see. But stay tuned, I have another idea. Such exciting times in my front and back yard right now.

I think that I do see the nest, and I do agree with you, its too high up for you to get a closer look. Its a great time to find new out in the yard isn't it?

Yes it is too high but I see birds flying to the nest. I love this time of year, except for the hot weather.

@Juliaacv No, I do not like the heat. Just the birds and flowers. I like cool 60s all the time. It is 80s now.

I wish, but not in the years. They like larger places. Remember I am looking straight up the tree so it is not actually as big as it looks.

By the looks of all them branches, you don't need no ladder to get up there and see the nest. Just climb the branches like you did when you were a kid!

I have seen many nests in the pines. Last year it was the robins.

If only it was a gold nugget, I'd be shinning up that tree like billy-oh! It looks like a big nest, so I wonder who it is home to

It looks bigger because of the view from the ground looking up.

Why don't you try climbing a tree and see what's in the nest? Maybe you can find eggs or even baby birds.
