It is tarsius, who live in Sulawes forest, Indonesia. An endemic animal. It is considered as one the smalles primate in case only 18 cm length and 80-120 grams in weight.
Look the big eyes and long hand ad compared to his body. Unfortunately it is shrinking in pooulation in case of massive deforeostation in Indonesia

We also have that creature that we call Tarsier. It is found only in the Bohol island. It is considered an endangered animal.

@nawala123 the Bohol island is in the middle of our country, quite far from the south. It is interesting for scientists that the tarsier is only in that island.

Can one have one as a pet? I see how the eyes bulge out.

Many animals are becoming extinct due to deforestation. It seems that nature is punishing us with the virus.

I think its now only found in Indonesia and the Philippines and here it could only be found in the island of Bohol where its also endangered. I had seen one several times and they are really awesome! They are an in between a monkey and a lemur.

What a little cutie, is sad it’s population is shrinking. It reminds me of a Bush baby, I wonder if they’re related.
