Good morning/evening, Hope this Sunday finds you and yours well. I am starting my day off a little slow. I laid in bed a while and watched an episode of the show I been watching. I just didn’t feel like getting up. I then looked at the news real quick online and I found a little feel good story out of Louisville, KY that happened on 28 May 2020. A police officer found himself alone in the middle of the protesters and backed himself against a wall so he would not get jumped from behind. The crowd started to yell at him, and it got heated pretty quickly. The officer called for assistance, but the closest units were a couple blocks away on the other side of the protesters. Thankfully, one of the protesters stepped between the officer and the protesters and tried to reason with them. Then another and another till there were 5 men, locked arms between the protesters and the officer. They were able to protect him until other police units showed up and got him out of there. Five complete strangers stepped up and protected this man they never met who just happened to be a police officer. Three black, one white and one Dominican decided that this was not right and stood up for this officer. This is what America should look like, this is what we should be seeing and doing everyday. People coming together to help each other not bringing each other down.

You're right, it should be that way all the time.

Those men were very brave. I hope the protesters were ashamed of themselves but I don't suppose they were.

Right, not sure how they felt but at least these few stood up and protected a fellow human.

That is great to hear, the protestors actually helped the police.
