It is raining now!

It is raining now. the extreme heat we felt the whole day is now gone, and we welcome the rains. I can even smell the soil with the rain water.
I had my bath several minutes ago. The water was warm, but I enjoyed the temperature of the water for bath because I have rhinitis- I sneeze every now and then.
It should be cool tonight. It better be!
But I hope that strange sound of the croaking frog won't be our sleeping pill. I dislike hearing that sound of a young-rooster-having-cough croak of a frog.

There are also frogs and toads here that when it rains at night there would a concert of croaking.

indeed, especially if there are many in a pool of stagnant rain water, they sing not in unison but as a chorale.

@ridingbet we catch the frog and toad that we find in the yard. We throw them to the open field nearby. The toad can be a source of ticks that would harm our dogs.

@Alexandoy have you tasted the frogs from the rice fields? they taste like chicken. especially if in 'sinigang', the broth is already 'ulam' for me.

We also have rain in the afternoon, for two days now. But still hot in the morning till noon.
I hope it will rain again this afternoon so that I won't have to water my plants.

the rain clouds here really are sometimes blown out and away from our place. it should be a fun time when it rains every afternoon here. plants definitely do not need watering, as what you mentioned.

@simone10 yes, in fact, those noises lull me to sleep. my sister is so attentive that even a cricket chirping outside my room causes her to talk loud to that insect and say,"SSSHHH". weird.
