Statistics is a science that draws conclusions from data. It collects data through surveys and presents them in an understandable way from which decisions are made. The most popular are political polls that show the opinion of voters before the election.
Do you believe the statistics? Have you ever conducted a survey?

I've never checked, but I don't believe in those statistics, they are mostly set up

It is always a good idea to analyze statistics, but we have to note that they are already established data and patterns. That is, it is about the past, although we can predict through that, it is also uncertain that we can be exact when doing it.

I believe if you don't know how to read statistics you may as well not look at them.
