Ready or not

I am dressed and ready to get outdoors. It has been a while since I ran an antivirus on the computer, so I may do that while I am outdoors. Always there are bills to pay. We have food prepared for the day, so maybe we will get some things done here. Anything good happening for you?

I head out earlier to buy some groceries. My usual Wednesday.

I think going earlier is a good idea.

@GardenGerty True. I'm trying to avoid having to fall in line just to get in.

Enjoy outdoors - go before it gets too hot. Bills don't stop coming. Having food taken care of ahead of time helps - one less thing to do. The good thing here is it is the last week of school (it's been online these past few months . . . I have not been fond of this kind of learning for the kids).

Our schools end much earlier than yours, but we start back in August.

It is nice when we can prepare the days meals ahead of time. It will be rainy in splotches here today. The rain from this morning has already dried from the sun. I was going to go to the store today, but think I'll go tomorrow instead. I am writing, and reading, and occasionally getting up to tend to this or that. I may crochet a few blocks that I can later stitch into pillows.

Did you get your license? I was thinking you had not. So far, NO rain and I hope it stays that way. We need it, but there is stuff I should take care of first. Heck of a lot of wind, though.

@GardenGerty No, the last time I tried was several years ago. I am just far too nervous when taking the test, and I second guess myself. I am confident when in rural areas, but scared in more populated areas. My uncle takes me to the store, though if he did not, I could walk.

As long as no one gets the virus, we will call it a good day! Yeah, those bills just keep coming. Pay one and another bill pops up!

My folks used to go to the auction when I was a kid, have not been since. I think it would be very interesting.

Nothing particularly good but nothing bad either so it's all good - if you know what I mean!

Sure! everyday is something good for me now. I have to say getting out of being a caregiver is the best move I ever made, however, it feels weird not having someone to tend so I spend that time for me now. Selfish? Robert has made a huge impact on me and life.

So very happy for you. Just had a serious talk with hubby because he does not NEED as much caregiving as I am having to give and there are days when someone needs to care for me. So I had him cook lunch.
