The Rain Has Come.

In my hermitage, I was oblivious to the world. I was in a self-imposed solitude a few days, the two pandemics - the first immobilizing humans and the second igniting racial fire, did take a toll on me. Thought it wise to refrain from watching the news, and pray. Oh, how I miss the Mass and Communion!
I was in such a state, till I heard a soft drizzle yesterday afternoon. Rushed outside to retrieve the linen from the clothesline. Washed the bed sheets and the towels, still can't believe that my daughter who spent an afternoon and a night home took three showers and used three towels. Sigh!
Had a strange dream and woke up to a chill sometime half past one in this morning. Couldn't get back to sleep and noticed the drizzle has turned into real rain.
Finally, the rain has come.
Always loved the rain.

There was a time when I had to drive through a flash flood with bolts of lightning and rumbling thunder that the hard rain obscured my vision, and when I got passed that, I asked, 'Hey rain, why did you have to scare me, huh?' By way of answering me, the rain dropped all the more heavy. Sigh.

Twice the difficulty driving is under the rain. Yet, when I was young, I looked at the rain as an adventure. Loved it.
Now than I am old, yup, I have to restrain my self from driving in the rain.

I also do not like zero visibility driving. I tail gate the vehicle in front of me. Very dangerous.

Yes it's raining cats and dogs ( meaning heavy rain) . Watching news is just waste of time as you find nothing other than Corona .

Jittery also about the widespread of the coronavirus. Yaiikkkks. At least, my city is not dotted full red. Still yaiikkkksssss.
