Angel approved of the first batch....

Photos I took of the first batch of dog treats and Angel trying one

They weren't the prettiest things, but as I think I said, Angel doesn't care what her treats look like, as long as she gets them. After the first batch had cooled down a bit, I gave Angel one to try, and she wolfed it down. The second batch is in the oven, and the batter was not only sticky (I had so much 'cause of having to quadruple the recipe and had to separate it into two bowls, so the proportions of ingredients in both may not have been exact), but I couldn't get it to roll as thin as the recipe said, so I am cooking it for an extra 10 minutes. Hopefully the next batch will be the last one, and I can do some cleaning.

Funny how animals are. My last dog was picky.

She seems to really like the homemade treats, which is good, they don't have all of the additives and stuff in them.
