I promised a story about my little sister and Phoebe

I was lighting fireworks on the 4th of July. One o them was called a flower. It would bounce and shower burning embers all and light. It took a wild bounce and headed towards my little sister. Phoebe stepped over and the firework hit her. It burned her side (I felt horrible) but Phobe wasn't going to let that firework anywhere near her little girl. I love dogs! Picture is of my little sister and Phoebe!

What a wonderful pup, she deserves a monument in her honor. Love that picture.

she was a great dog, she had a unique relationship with every person in the house. But my little sister was her baby.

she got a really bad burn on her leg. I got in trouble because the fireworks were too close to the house!

@DocAndersen Poor baby. You shouldn't have been playing with fireworks in the first place.

Dogs can be so protective, it's like a natural instinct they have. Love the picture!

@DocAndersen We had a friend when we lived in Vegas who had an autistic daughter. Bella (who recently passed away) was so gentle and loving with her. She was amazing.

@simone10 we used to walk in a neighborhood with lots of kids. When we first got my dog, we didn't see any kids for 4 or 5 months so I didn't know how he would be. The kid ran up and my dog, loved being with kids. Dogs just know!
