Turning Lemons Into Lemonade

You know the song, Let A Smile Be Your Umbrella. I think this is a good time to remember that song. I think most of us are a little down right now.

I also try to turn lemons into lemonade. Sometimes it's not easy especially when the lemons keep coming. It's a gorgeous day here too and I'm going to sit outside and enjoy it.

Sometimes there are just too many lemons . . . that is when I focus on being productive. I have been picking the many lemons from our tree, juicing, and freezing . . . don't know what we'll ultimately do with them, but at least I was productive (that's how I see life too). Weekend plans . . . not sure yet, but we will do something outdoors since it's a tad bit cooler (for now).

I completely agree, I make lemonade when life deals me lemons too-there really is no other way. We do not have any plans for the weekend, probably just relaxing and enjoying the nice weather.

I was looking forward to a fun, outdoor-filled weekend of adventure, but instead I'll be sitting inside playing on myLot, as it is going to rain all weekend. Turning lemons into lemonade, I guess I'll increase my online earnings from being on myLot a lot of the day! haha For Halloween this year, I am going to get a white t-shirt, and print LIFE on it in big, black letters. Then I'm going to get a bucket of lemons, and when trick-or-treaters come to my door, I am going to hand them lemons! lol

This month has been like a seesaw. The first week we had a few days of triple digits this week it's been mid 90s and next week it'll be back into the triple digits and so on. At least those triples only last for 4 days at a time so that's good.

We had a cool day here, I hope tomorrow is just as cool, it has been way too hot lately.

Hard to be happy when you are stuck in one spot and can't find a way out.

I get a problem and try and try to solve it and sometimes I just have to take the least solution I have and but still try to solve it. I have been dealing with many things and then my washer went out and have to deal with that now and someone coming in hopefully to set it up and teach me how to use it. By the way I love lemonade and used to make it all the time, but, now cannot find lemons or really decided not to get them at the grocery store. now. I wish I could put a smile but all around me there is something making me not happy so until I find the right solutions I feel good about I guess i will not be smiling a lot. Sorry, I am just not built like you are by putting a smile on your face even if you do not feel that way.

Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference. I find music to be a good pick me up. I'm Working around the house today. Many weeds to take care of growing around my beautiful plants. Cannot have that! Hope things get better..

I have no special plans. I am just enjoying being lazy and enjoying few movies. You are right...our attitude matters a lot. Staying positive helps.
