Enough ~ Taking a Break From the Birds

Woke up to a beautiful morning. The weather is perfect with low humidity. Checked on the baby cardinals. It has been three days since they were born. More bad news. Nest is empty. Babies were in the yard. Did not survive. I think the wind and hail storm must have blown them to the ground. Cannot take any more bad news right now. Will try to enjoy the weather.

@CarolDM Hard storms do that. It is natures control of things sadly.

I have to remember I am dealing with nature. And more than 50% do not make it in the wild. Still upsetting to see.

Thanks but no baby birds have survived yet but the blackbirds and robins and mockingbirds. They are growing and leaving the yard.
