Today I went to check on my birth certificate.
And I'm just hoping and praying everything goes well.
I really need this paper so I can have an ID and some form of identification apart from my birth name.
I know my mom is praying and wishing everything goes well.
Funny thing is am fighting back tears because I really need this paper....
I want to believe everything will go well but I can't help but wonder if it doesn't ...
Then what would I do?
Are there even options left?
I forgo to mention that we are waiting patiently for what the registry people might say.
We have been going up and down for years looking for a birth certificate for me but it never worked out. ..
Teachers from my pass schools has tried helping out and even people from the ministry.....I can't help but think how unlucky I am. ...
I forgot to say that am 18 years old ... turning 19 in November... And I have no form of identification....
The people from the registry ask for my baptism paper...again
I don't know if it will work out because I got baptize at the age of 17 ...
I really wish
Well they the registry people are back and they can't help so they sent us downstairs...
Am so angry and frustrated that I want to cry ....
Am heading downstairs I'll get back to you in a second....
Two weeks later...
I brought in my uncle and I believe things might work out for the first time.... ...am waiting on further information right now ...but let's see how long it takes before my hope is destroyed...
My new attempt is to vote in other to get my papers sorted out.

@myklj999 yes the school graduation certificate is indeed a accepted proof for date of birth. The hospital you were born will have your birth records isn't.

@myklj999 ok. So why isn't this hospital giving the birth certificate. They are legally required to provide the certificate.

How did you ever start going to school without a birth certificate? In our country that is a requirement. The schools you went to might have a copy of it somewhere. Were you born in a hospital or at home? Who administered to your birth when you were born? ( Doctor, nurse, midwife etc....)
